Sophia Forster was raised in a family tradition of artisanal craftsmanship spanning master painters to goldsmiths — an upbringing that instilled in her an early fascination with materiality, individual creativity, and the fellowship of artisans bound by a shared devotion to their craft. She began her path into gemstones with a formal apprenticeship under Wolfgang Eberl, sharpened further by gemmological studies at GemA in London.
Gregor Hiller has treated the world as his backyard since childhood, having lived across more than eight countries. It was on a journey to Tanzania that he first encountered the world of gemstones, setting him on a path of continuous exploration into their vast beauty. For several years he trained in the gemstone trade under the guidance of Wolfgang Eberl, a practical education paired with formal gemmological studies at GemA in London.
